| We were proud to sign the Manhattan Declaration - a call of Christian Conscience. And now we are also signatories of The Westminster 2010 Declaration of Christian Conscience. These statements have nothing to do with ecumenism, mixing gospels, diluting gospels, compromise, or any other issue of suspicion. What they are about is the united stand by those who are persuaded that Christian Morality needs a voice in this world of 'diversity'. If you are worried about the sharing of a cause between different denominations and are tempted to raise problems, I strongly suggest that you are dividing people on a poor foundation. Would you refuse to defend your country because those with you were not Christians, or from another denomination? If this was about uniting in the gospel or theology, I would perhaps have problems also - but in reality it is about defending the Christian worldview in a united and much STRONGER way than is possible if we do it seperately. The enemy in this case is not other denominational views and their theological niceties - it is the forces of secularism, atheism, humanism, and the diversity proponents who would simply love to silence the voice of Christians. We cannot allow that to happen.....
