Welcome to Spirit of Elijah Ministries.......
...the ministry of John and Janette Wilson. We are located right in the heart of England in the creative city of Stoke on Trent, which is otherwise known as 'The Potteries'. We are not a church, but rather we are a ministry called to work with and within the churches to promote a restored relationship with the Father through Jesus as the basis for true life. Redemptive in our purpose we seek to see revival with a return to balance in the body of Christ.
Many in these days claim to come in 'the spirit and power of Elijah' and build up ministries which place a focus on relationships, families and counselling, bringing an emphasis on the restoration of the human elements of life. We admire and applaud such efforts which are a working out of Malachi 4v6, but we are called more particularly to the words of Jesus concerning the 'Elijah to come'. | What we are seeing today is a church run by the three P's - powerpoint, personalities and profits(prophets). What we really need is to see a church run by The Lord, and which does not seek to impress but rather seeks to express the life of Christ |
He said in Matt 17 v11-12 that when Elijah came he would 'restore all things'. We are called of God to
the challenging task of urging the churches in our day to come back to a full and proper relationship with the Father. To this end, just as Elijah challenged the false prophets on Mt Carmel and brought about a return to true worship, so we challenge the false opinions of today that turn God's people aside after many things, and hinder the moving of God's Spirit. There has been an emphasis within the modern churches to seek the 'new thing' which has been stated by leaders to be a return to true apostolic Christianity. In truth this has not happened and the fruit of this adventure has been more confusion, division, error in doctrine, excesses of practices, and a general lack of discernment by Christians and leaders of churches. In truth God calls us back to the 'old ways' (Jer 6v16) which IS a return to apostolic Christianity. He does not call us to return to traditions of men or denominational forms, nor does He call us to find 'new things' or 'new revelation' from modern prophets who claim to know more than those in scripture. He calls us to return to His Word and follow the pattern in His Word, and He calls us to test all things, and not to blindly accept everything 'spiritual' - for the deceiver is a spirit! John and Jan look to work alongside Ministers to encourage and build up the people of God, so that they may find true liberty in Christ. In keeping with the prophetic call it involves a process of tearing down and building up as correction is brought to the body. We tear down strongholds of error, and build up the Kingdom of God based on truth. the Body of Christ in these last days. Please freely use all the resources we provide here, and grow in grace. We unashamedly seek to enlighten all to the truth about both the churches and the political systems that run this world. We are acutely aware that the last days are days of deception, and that both political and religious systems will be in apostasy at the end. Our political leaders sell us ideas that are disguises for bringing in the 'New World Order' which is the political expression of the Occult 'New Age' or 'Great Work'. The prominent religious leaders conspire to unify all faiths, and Christian leaders desire unity without truth. They have allowed into the churches everything that God banned - including differing doctrines about
Jesus. These Christian Ministries encourage us to follow signs and wonders that do not agree with doctrine - and expel those who embarrass them with the ancient and established truths of scripture. We are to accept their words as truth even when they fly in the face of the Word of God. All these situations are now global, and will not be stopped. We are well on the way now to the fulfilment of that scenario of corruption, but strongly believe in revival in the midst of judgement as being the way forward for today. God still calls to His people and summons them to be revived, and to stand in the face of evil. This world will not continue for much longer and we will not transform or save this world before Jesus returns. Much is in place already, and more is about to be positioned for the fulfilment of the book of Revelation. The Harlot is being formed, as is the European monster that will soon subdue all. The Lord will soon break open the seals and release the final phase of this age. We must save out of the coming chaos all the souls we can, and seek to perfect those in the body who are hungry for holiness. There is much more going on than many realise - check

for a short while, but like every other 'fix' under the sun it soon wears off! Even Jesus couldn't win the world by His miracles when He walked this earth.
What turns the hearts of men is His cross!
What convicts men is His Word!
What saves men is His Blood!
The only pursuits of value are those for love and holiness, both exemplified by Christ through the cross.
These alone have eternal value as, without holiness no-one will see God, and without love all is in vain."
